  You must check the Impact factor which shows the frequency of articles in a journal that has been cited in a particular time period. If the impact factor of the journal is more than 10 it is considered excellent and 3 is good. You can also look into the Cite score which is a calculation based on the citations recorded in the Scopus database using citations for articles published in the preceding four years. Journals from Q1(25% of journals with the highest CiteScore) and Q2(includes the next 25% of Journal) consist of higher Cite scores. You should check the Aim and scope of the journal to see whether it suits your topic of research.
