Category: Dissertation/ThesisPeer reviews are reliable or not?

Hi,
I want my paper to be peer reviewed but I doubt, these peer reviews are reliable, as one of my friends told me that it’s just a waste of time and also, i have read numerous articles and opinions by authors saying that this is not at all honest.
Actually, i want my research to get peer reviewed because i don’t want it to get rejected. But, with the rapidly growing number of submissions, the peers may not look into the research with their full attention.
What would you have to say about this? Do share your suggestions.
Correct me, if i am wrong.

Greetings! I believe peer review is an important part of paper publishing though. As a researcher you have to be double sure regarding your research.
I think the process is reliable if you choose an efficient and effective website to get your research peer reviewed.
https://en.wikiversity.org/wiki/Free_online_peer_reviewed_journals . I found this website. This will really help you.
Don’t forget to get your paper peer reviewed before publishing it.

In my suggestion, peer review process is not flawed, and everyone must go through this process before submitting the research as there are many mistakes PhD students do while writing the paper and these mistakes must be detected and corrected, in my opinion only a third person can do that. So, peer review is important. You can check online and select as there are so many options available online.
It is an easy and a reliable process. Don’t worry

I agree with everybody above and match their idea that you should must get your paper peer reviewed. This system does maintain quality of journals.
Yes, i do agree with you also as the quality have been declined and the system needs to change in certain ways.
Go for some reputed companies there researches put in a lot of hard work.
Search online, i am sure you will definitely get one.

No, i don’t think you should get your research peer reviewed, i am saying this with my personal experience as when i was doing my PhD and got my paper peer reviewed but then also my mentors rejected my paper and it was a heartbreaking moment for me.
So, i would suggest you to re-read your study again and again rather than giving it for peer review.
