Hi I m a Mphil scholar doing research in HR.. there are 373 respondents and SEM analysis was performed in Amos..there are two models both are good fit and statistically significant.. problem is that R square value for both model is 0.20 and 0.28 respectively .how should I justify these low values? Can someone share any prior study for reference ? Thanks in advance

There could be two possibilities because of which your R square value is low. One of the possibilities could be that you might have used factorial data and another possibility could be that your variability is high and correlation is low.
So, please check.
