In full-time PhD, a researcher is giving undivided attention to his subject and can be found most of the time in the university only.
The course is registered for a minimum period of 3 years. It could extend up to 5 years. Whereas, part-time PhD involves a researcher who may be employed and is pursuing his research on a part-time basis. The student is required to attend a certain number of classes and for evaluation. The student must have a min 1-year work experience in the said field. Should be working in an organisation which encourages and facilitates research and will provide NoC for the same. It may take from 6 to 8 years to get doctorate depending on the college and course of choice.

Which one of them is beneficial depends on your choice. There is no particular answer to this question.
