Are there known corrections or clarifications to John Bell’s article on the EPR paradox?
As someone diving deep into quantum foundations, Bell’s theorem is a cornerstone but I know scientific understanding evolves. I’m wondering if any notable corrections, reinterpretations, or experimental refinements have emerged over the years that clarify or adjust what Bell originally argued about locality and realism.

I’ve followed the discourse around Bell’s paper for years, and while the core theorem remains robust, there have been meaningful clarifications. Bell himself later emphasized that his theorem isn’t just about hidden variables but really challenges local causality. Recent work, like the “loophole-free” experiments from 2015 onward, has strengthened empirical support, closing detection and locality loopholes that Bell acknowledged. I’d recommend reading later papers by Bell, as well as analyses by physicists like Aspect and Zeilinger, who’ve refined the interpretation. Also, the context of quantum information theory has expanded how we view Bell inequalities they’re now tools for certifying entanglement, not just philosophical arguments. So, while the original paper stands correct, its implications have grown richer.
