Are ultra vires rulings by national constitutional courts becoming a real threat to supranational legal order?
This arises from recent European constitutional disputes. Courts increasingly assert constitutional identity. I want to assess systemic risk.

From my experience, ultra vires review has shifted from theory to practice. I have seen it used as a warning mechanism rather than outright defiance. While it introduces tension, it has not yet collapsed supranational authority. I would recommend seeing it as a constitutional dialogue tool that becomes dangerous only if normalized or politically instrumentalized.
