How can I find a digital copy of Michael Roberts’ original “Military Revolution” article?

I understand it was first a lecture, then published in an obscure journal.
My literature review feels incomplete without directly engaging the source.
Commercial academic sites ask for high fees for single-article access.
Are there any scholarly repositories or legitimate open-access routes you’re aware of?

Beyond library databases, I would recommend a two-pronged approach. First, check academic social networks like Academia.edu or ResearchGate; sometimes scholars upload copies for research purposes. Second, use WorldCat to find the holding library nearest to you for the journal The Historical Journal (Vol. 4, No. 2, 1960) which reprinted it  some libraries offer digital scans through interlibrary loan. I have seen persistent, polite requests to subject librarians yield surprising results. While a free, open-access copy is unlikely, these routes often succeed.
