Most sustainability frameworks seem designed for large corporations.Small businesses face resource and capacity constraints.I want to understand what approaches actually work at smaller scales.

From my experience advising small enterprises, sustainability works best when it is incremental and operationally grounded. I have seen small businesses succeed by focusing on energy efficiency, waste reduction, and supplier choices that also lower costs. I would recommend starting with simple audits and setting realistic targets rather than adopting complex frameworks. Sustainability becomes manageable when it aligns with daily operations and financial resilience instead of being treated as an added burden.
