From my experience developing introductory business courses, I would focus on three pillars: foundational knowledge, applied skills, and engagement. Include modules on management, marketing, finance, and entrepreneurship with real-world case studies. Use active learning strategies like simulations, group projects, and business plan exercises to reinforce concepts. For assessment, combine quizzes, reflective assignments, and presentations to evaluate understanding and application. Keeping content relevant and interactive fosters both competence and motivation in freshmen.
