One of the most common methods for analyzing the acquisition of any second language is the ‘case study methodology’ where the researcher can study a group of children to understand their skills/capacity towards acquiring a non-native/second language. Another popular method is the ‘psycholinguistic method’ which explores the psychological aspects of the human mind which is focused on the process of language acquisition.
