We hear Industry 4.0 everywhere. Now there's Health 4.0. Is this just buzz, or does it mean something concrete?

It's concrete—if loosely defined. Health 4.0 applies Industry 4.0's toolkit (IoT, AI, big data, robotics, cloud) to healthcare. Think: wearables streaming real-time data, AI flagging early deterioration, robotic surgery with haptic feedback, and integrated platforms sharing records across providers. The goal is a smart, connected, personalized healthcare system—predictive, preventive, and participatory. It's not just digitizing old processes. It's reimagining care as continuous, data-driven, and patient-centered. Buzzword? Maybe. But it names a real shift.
