Why can’t healthcare just... work better?
If we know what good care looks like, why is it so hard to deliver it consistently?

Because healthcare providers operate under crushing constraints: chronic underfunding, critical workforce shortages, fragmented IT systems that don't talk to each other, regulatory burdens that consume time, and inefficient resource allocation that puts beds and staff in the wrong places. These aren't excuses they're the actual barriers. Fixing them requires more than clinical knowledge. It requires system-level redesign. And that's slow, expensive, and politically fraught.
