Yes, future OSs will likely be AI-native. An AI-driven OS would use machine learning for core functions: predictive resource management, self-optimization for performance/security, natural language interfaces, and proactive problem-solving. It would move from reactive management to anticipatory operation. However, this raises challenges in transparency, security of the AI core, and energy use. The concept involves replacing traditional schedulers and managers with an AI "brain" that continuously learns and adapts the system to user behavior and hardware state.
