Financial chaos actually be good for Innovation?

Disruption in finance (like new fintech or ESG rules) sounds stressful for established companies. Can this kind of upheaval actually force positive innovation, or does it just create chaos?

It absolutely can be a powerful catalyst. When the rules of funding change whether through crowdfunding platforms, blockchain, or ESG investment mandates companies can't just do business as usual. This pressure forces them to innovate in their business models (to attract new types of investors), risk management (to handle new volatility), and customer engagement (to meet new expectations). Necessity becomes the mother of invention, pushing firms to adapt and often leading to more resilient and creative strategies.
