Is it a good option to use deep learning for the integration of Natural Language Processing?
I am conducting research in this area and because human thoughts are related to human language, I thought of using Deep Learning (DL) for integrating Natural Language Processing(NLP). I believe this is how General Artificial Intelligence can be built. However, I would like to get some suggestions if anyone can help.
What approaches can be used for this process? Also, are there any trends in this area?

For a better understanding, you can refer to this paper as it makes really good points.

Say, you can go for sentiment analysis, classification of text or using bots. Through these ways the text can be analysed and then one can feed this information to the deep neural networks.
Also, to name one of the new areas which comes with more sophisticated neural networks, you can try using the General Artificial Intelligence.
IBM is also an area which became a matter of debate recently between the topics of professional humans and AI and served great results. This debate can serve the purpose of trending area in General Artificial Intelligence and also provide enough research scope.

It has some nice and interesting trends regarding the conduct of NLP integration based on Deep Learning. I guess it is more difficult to do it theoretically as I am myself struggling how to model the meaning.
I hope this helps.

Moreover, it can also be used to build other applications like Smiley Prediction, Smiley Analysis, Domain-specific chatbots or the chatbots which can talk in regional languages.

On the other hand, it is shown that ANN or DNF can be used to build the 1-/2- place classifiers as well.
The work outlines that it is possible to reduce the NL texts to the algorithmic representations in systems or it can be used to turn NL into extended compilators. This can take place as any English clause is taken as a 1-/2-place classifier.
Also, you can refer to "Automating Acquisition and Explanation of Strategy Knowledge" by S. Grigoryan.
Good luck!

I believe that in order to remove unnecessary complications it is better to create a specified language for certain tasks to design the communication between computer systems and humans. This enables the use of artificial intelligence to answer the questions asked, only perform the specified tasks and control the related equipment, and to provide the required information. So that the humans can have their hands and eyes free and perform other tasks at the same time.
In short, it’s better to enable the computers to perform the below tasks:
Processing the spoken words reliably
Translating the words into text (readable form)
Verifying the words and complying them to proper grammar and syntax
Determining the command given by the human
Responding according to the command by giving the right information and using the accurate equipment
Reply in the mode that can be either heard or seen by the human
These points are important to be considered for safety purposes. I hope it helps you somehow with your research.
