Is there a mathematical theory of intuition, analogous to probability theory?

Can intuition be rigorously modeled and described by a mathematical theory, in the same way that probability theory systematizes chance?

There is no formal, universally accepted "theory of intuition" like probability theory. Intuition involves subconscious pattern recognition and heuristic reasoning. However, related mathematical frameworks exist: fuzzy logic handles approximate reasoning, Dempster-Shafer theory deals with belief and evidence, and heuristic search algorithms in AI model intuitive leaps. These attempt to formalize aspects of non-probabilistic, plausible reasoning.
