Is there information available in English about the Algorithm Based on Numbers (ABN)?

I’m looking into alternative mathematics teaching frameworks, and ABN keeps coming up in discussions, especially in early numeracy development. Most of the literature I’ve encountered so far is in Spanish, which limits my access as an English-speaking researcher. I’d appreciate any guidance on where to find materials, studies, or even communities in English that explore ABN’s principles and applications.

Yes, there are English resources available, though they are less extensive than the Spanish literature. In my work on international pedagogies, I have seen ABN covered in comparative studies on early math education, particularly in journals like Early Childhood Education Journal and Educational Studies in Mathematics. I would recommend starting with academic databases using the keywords “ABN method” or “Algorithm Based on Numbers,” and also looking at open-access repositories where bilingual researchers sometimes publish summaries. Additionally, following researchers like Jaime Martínez Montero the founder on academic networks can lead you to translated materials or collaborative projects. While the primary sources remain in Spanish, the growing interest in numeracy approaches is gradually increasing English coverage.
