Can you explain the different types of purposeful sampling?

a) homogenous sampling – this methods aims at achieving a homogenous samples. I.e. units and characteristics of sample must be same. b) extreme case sampling – this is used to focus on special or unusual cases such as cases that highlights notable results( failures or successes). c) total population sampling – as the name suggests this technique is used to examine the entire population. d) typical case sampling – this technique is used when you want to examine the normality/typicality of the units.
