From my experience attending interdisciplinary conferences, this society’s meeting is significant because it legitimizes nonlinear thinking within psychology and life sciences. I have seen it bring together researchers who challenge linear cause–effect models of behavior and biology. I would recommend viewing the conference as a space where methodological experimentation is encouraged. Its value lies less in consensus and more in fostering dialogue across disciplinary boundaries that rarely intersect elsewhere.
