Start with the classics: Mohan, Undeland & Robbins' Power Electronics and Rashid's Power Electronics Handbook cover the fundamentals. For voltage multipliers (Cockcroft-Walton, etc.), look for Schenkel's original work or IEEE papers on high-voltage generation. For practical design, TI and ON Semiconductor app notes on rectifier circuits and SMPS are gold. Online, NPTEL video lectures (India) offer comprehensive, free courses from basics to advanced. Layer theory with application notes, and you'll get there.
