From my experience in curriculum design, creativity is best assessed through longitudinal and reflective methods. I have seen portfolios, creative rewrites, and reflective essays reveal growth more reliably than standardized tests. I would recommend combining self-assessment with instructor evaluation, focusing on risk-taking, originality, and interpretive flexibility. Creativity emerges as a pattern of engagement rather than a single measurable skill.
