Is there academic literature that links aging with forms of deviant behavior?

Deviance is often associated with youth in sociological studies.Less attention seems given to aging populations.I want to know how scholars approach deviance later in life.

From my experience reading life-course research, aging and deviance are linked, though often subtly. I have seen studies on white-collar crime, substance use, and institutional deviance in elder care settings. I would recommend approaching this literature through gerontology and labeling theory, which show how behavior becomes defined as deviant differently across the life span rather than disappearing with age.
