Looking for guidance or research support related to archives or institutions in St. Petersburg.

Working at the crossroads of psychology and religious studies, I'm examining potential correlations. I'm not seeking to prove dogma, but to understand if and how practices like prayer, meditation, or community ritual function as psychological coping tools during crisis, from a scholarly perspective.

In my clinical and research experience, the intersection is profound, but the mechanisms are specific. I've seen that resilience often stems not from belief per se, but from the ancillary benefits: a structured community for social support, a cognitive framework for making meaning out of suffering, and regular mindfulness practices like prayer or meditation that regulate the nervous system. I would recommend focusing research on these mediating variables like perceived meaning or social connectedness which are more measurable than "spirituality" alone and show strong correlation with resilience outcomes.
