Mathematics is unequivocally the language of the natural sciences, providing the formalism for describing physical laws. In philosophy, it is crucial in logic and philosophy of mathematics. In religion, its role is largely metaphorical or symbolic (e.g., sacred geometry). Its precision and necessity make it ideal for science, while its abstract purity inspires philosophical and, less definitively, theological reflection.
