Hello, I am pursuing my PhD in Advanced Prediction area, now my university wants me to analyze the thermal images using the Matlab software. Can anyone suggest me how to process thermal images in Matlab?

First, the collection of thermal images needs to be done based on the requirement. After which an advanced filtering technique can be adopted to enhance the quality of the thermal images. Here, in this case, you can use region-based active contour segmentation for separating that region from the background, after which area of the segmented image can be found.
