Methodologies and data collection help!

Good afternoon
I am in the first year of my PhD in strategic management studies and i am facing problem in choosing a perfect data collection and analysis method.
The basic problem is that i have no idea about the types of methodologies.
The topic of my research is statistical analysis on Strategic management of intellectual properties for competitive advantage and i have thought of conducting a method which would have both qualitative and quantitative data as well. I have thought of preparing an interview with both types of questions.
My query is that how will I analyse the data?
Please help. Thank you!

So, you are planning to conduct a Mixed Method Research. In my opinion, you should add minimum 50 respondents in your quantitative research part and for your second part of qualitative research, there is no particular number on how many participants you need to interview e.g. 6 or 20. You can interview as many participants.
