Which institutes offer advanced training in electroanalytical chemistry?

My PhD involves developing novel electrochemical biosensors. While my program provides a strong theoretical base, I feel a dedicated, intensive practical course on state-of-the-art instrumentation and data interpretation would significantly accelerate my work. I'm seeking programs that offer rigorous, hands-on experience with techniques like EIS, SECM, or advanced voltammetry, preferably during a summer or a short-term module.

This is an excellent initiative; specialized training can be transformative. I would recommend looking first at the short courses offered by instrument manufacturers like Metrohm or PalmSens they are intensely practical. For academic programs, the Center for Electrochemical Sciences at Ruhr University Bochum and the annual ISE Spring School are highly regarded. Also, check the Royal Society of Chemistry's Analytical Division events calendar. I’ve seen students gain tremendous confidence from these focused, immersive settings, often returning with new methodologies for their lab.
