AMOS is an added SPSS module, and used for path analysis, and confirmatory factor analysis. To conduct data analysis you better use SPSS. SPSS software can read and write data from other statistical packages, databases, and spreadsheets thereby helping you with your data analysis.

I agree with Rahul. AMOS is used in data analysis but it is widely used for path analysis. SPSS is widely used in social science field for data analysis. Thisl software has a technique called missing value analysis, and this technique helps in making better decisions about the data.
