AMOS vs SPSS


I want to conduct statistical data analysis. It is advisable to use AMOS or SPSS for the same?

AMOS is often used for path analysis.To conduct data analysis you better use SPSS or may be SAS too. SPSS can read and write data from other statistical packages, databases, and spreadsheets thereby helping you with your data analysis.

I totally agree with Nithin. Do not go with AMOS. SPSS is the best tool. Some of the benefits of using SPSS are: SPSS provides basic statistical functions, including cross tabulation, frequencies, and bivariate statistics. SPSS allows you to use their data to create density charts and radial boxplots without any efforts.

Nadeemjmi, while using SPSS you may come across missing decimal number. I would suggest you to go with SAS. Benefits of using SAS are: 1.It enables you to use SAS analytics to massive amounts of data 2.Enables to create powerful statistical models 3.Lets you create reports/dashboards using graphs, standard tables, and gauges 4.Lets you create custom graphs
