Benefits of using SPSS over excel to analyse the data

used by many professionals, statisticians and scholars, these days statisticians prefer using SPSS instead of excel. Some of the factors that contribute to wide usage of SPSS are: a) It consists built-in functions which can be used for data analysis. b) SPSS package is equipped with complete package of statistical tests and lets user run them pretty easily and effectively. c)SPSS gives high quality graphs and charts that immensely helps in the statistical analysis. d) SPSS lets you create a table and report generation. e) SPSS has capability of converting the codes into meaningful results. f) Statistical data is based on actual values and gives you accurate results.

Hi Ritesh, SPSS has several added benefits over excel. It manages the data, has wide range of options for creating tables, charts or graphs. The output in SPSS is kept apart from the data, that is by storing the results in a separate file.
