I want to confirm the adopted items from my previous studies, and I am thinking of using SPSS for the same. Is it ok to use SPSS as an analysis technique in my study?

According to me, SPSS will not help you in your study, other than that you can try  AMOS, LISREL or MPlus. If you don’t wish to pay for any of these softwares then, you can also use R with SPSS, you can find the free version very easily. I am attaching a link below for your reference: https://www.ibm.com/developerworks/community/wikis/home?lang=en#!/wiki/We70df3195ec8_4f95_9773_42e448fa9029/page/Downloads%20for%20IBM%C2%AE%20SPSS%C2%AE%20Statistics Now, follow the steps given below: Install a compatible version of R for your SPSS version. Execute the downloaded R software from SPSS. In this case, You might need to have an IBM or SPSS account.

Hi, You will not be able to run CFA alone, You will need AMOS to run CFA. So, first what you need to do is to purchase AMOS.

Hello, I don’t think SPSS is suitable for CFA. You can run SPSS on exploratory factor analysis on SPSS rather than confirmatory factor analysis. You can use Mplus for CFA, I used the same in my research.
