Assumptions for multiple regression test in SPSS
Is there any assumptions that need to be met while conducting multiple regression test in SPSS? And please mention the steps that is included in the test.

Yes, there are a few assumptions that need to be followed while conducting multiple regression test in SPSS. Assumption 1- Here the dependent variable should be measured on the basis of a continuous scale. Assumption 2- You should have two or more independent variables that are categorical/continuous. Assumption 3- The data you have collected should not show multicollinearity.

Divya, the steps that should be followed while conducting multiple regression test in SPSS are a) Analysis of data correlation and directionality a) Estimation of the model c) Evaluation of the usefulness and validity of the model.

Madhu, you have missed out some more assumptions like, One must have an independence of observations. There must be a linear relationship between the dependent variable and the collective independent variables. and the dependent variable & each of the independent variables. The data needs to display homoscedasticity.
