How to use SPSS software for content analyis?

I’m struggling with the content analysis bit of my PhD research, the problem is that my supervisor has asked me to do the content analysis for my research using SPSS software but I have absolutely no clue about how to go about it as I have never used the software before. To be honest I hadn’t even heard of the software until he mentioned it. My supervisor is unable to help me with it since he has gone abroad for a conference , so I need urgent help getting to know the basics of using the software. Can anyone help me out with this?

Content analysis through SPSS is not an easy task, I wonder why your supervisor hasn’t taken out the time to explain how SPSS works if he wants you to use it for content analysis. Anyway, the process can’t be rushed, SPSS is not easy to understand at the first attempt but the good part is that there are quite a few tutorials and guidelines available on the web for doing so. Most of them explain how to use the software from scratch so you shouldn’t have trouble understanding them. Hello! If you don’t have the time or inclination to understand how SPSS works then you can also enlist the help of a statistician. They can help you out with SPSS based content analysis required for your research.
