SPSS AMOS is the best tool that can be used for SEM process. It lets you specify, estimate, evaluate and present models to describe the hypothesized relation among the variables. The software also lets you develop models accurately and also lets you select between either graphical user interface or non-graphical programmatic interface.

Nothing can beat SPSS AMOS when it comes to SEM. The advantages of using SPSS AMOS are: 1.Quickly develops graphical models by making use of drag & drop drawing and editing tools. 2.Generates models that reflect complex relationships. 3.Utilises numeric value to predict any other numeric value. 4.Makes use of non-graphical scripting capabilities to quickly run huge and complicated models and to develop similar models.

An added advantage of SPSS AMOS over other softwares are it enables different data imputation approaches. That is it utilises regression imputation to develop a single and completed data set. Uses Bayesian imputation method to develop multiple imputed data sets. And lets you impute missing values variable scores.
