Can anyone point to an example of a school science curriculum developed through action research?

Action research is often promoted as a way to bridge theory and practice. I’m interested in how science curricula have been systematically developed through this approach. This question is relevant for practitioner-researchers and curriculum innovators.

From my experience, fully documented science curricula developed through action research are usually found in dissertations or school-based projects rather than national repositories. I have seen teachers iteratively redesign science units based on classroom evidence, student misconceptions, and reflective cycles. I would recommend looking at case studies where inquiry-based science programs evolved over several action research cycles. These examples show how curriculum grows organically from practice rather than being externally imposed.
