Etabs for structural analysis of buildings

Is it advisable to use Etabs for the purpose of structural analysis of buildings? Or is there any other tool that can be used?

I guess you can use SAP 2000 for analysing the structure of the building. I advise you to use this tool because it can automatically generate joints at structural intersections of objects.

aarav, you can definitely use Etabs for structural analysis of buildings. This tool has several benefits over any other tool. It offers unparalleled 3D object based modelling and visualisation tools.

I totally agree with prajwal. Etab has several advantages. No other tool has linear and nonlinear analytical power as that of Etab. It also has comprehensive design capabilities and insightful graphic displays.
