Qualitative data analysis includes 4 major steps.
1. Collecting feedback – the very first step in qualitative data analysis is to collect the feedbacks or comments you want to analyse.
2. Code your comments – the second step is to code the data, read and decide how the data should be organised.
3. Run queries – after coding the data, run the queries or get insights to your data.
4. Report your findings – the last step is to report the results. Include suitable graphs or charts to explore the data.

Coding in qualitative data is nothing but assigning a word/phrase that summarises a particular section of visual data.
It can capture the essence of salient elements in a section.

Qualitative data analysis includes
1. Recording data – begin with collecting the data, filtering the unnecessary data and transcribing the data.
2. Developing framework – determine ideas, behaviour, concepts and assign codes to them. This process is also known as coding. By developing a framework you can structure and label the data.
3. Identify pattern & connections – identify themes, check for common data patterns, common responses and find concepts that can be explored further.
