Harvard style is popularly used to cite references.  A reference list must include information about the sources such as the name of author,  publication date, title of the source, etc. While citing the reference in Harvard style,  you must include them in a separate sheet at the end of your research document, organise them alphabetically by author.  However, if there are no authors then order by the title of the source.  If there are multiple works by the same author then they must be organised by date and if the sources are in the same year  then they must be organised alphabetically by the title.

the guidelines given by name1 is suitable only for reference list. For in-text referencing,   include the surname of the author followed by the year of the publication. If you are citing two or more references within the same parentheses,   then list the authors alphabetically separated by a semicolon. If the names of the author form part of your sentence, then you need not include them in parentheses.
