How to determine the literatures for systematic review process? To determine the selection criteria look for the following a. Year of publication. I.e designate the period which is under study. b. Number of citations of the article. You can find this information in databases. Articles with a good number of citations are considered as a prestigious research. c.Key words. These reflect the terminology utilised in the given field and help you identify the relevant studies.

Criteria selection determination is not so easy process. You will have to check for the language of the publications.  I.e. the languages that predominate in science or your related domain. Look for the type of publication.  Even though you have worked only with original and review studies, some topics will require information from research reports,  annual reports, or guidelines. Hence it becomes a necessity to state these features in the description of the procedure.
