How to reduce the number of iterations?

Hi, I am pursuing my PhD mainly in design analysis area. I have taken a pre-designed unit for my research work and now i am facing difficulties to analyse the system using softwares. My mentor suggested me to reduce the iterations from the design, since the design is very complicated, i want to know how to reduce the number of iterations in analysis of complicated design?

The best way of reducing the number of iterations in the analysis is from proper Finite element analysis method. This can be done both manually and with help of software also. In this method, the actual analysis area can be determined and the same can be considered for analysis in software. For this case, you can take Hypermesh as meshing tool and where the analysis is required you can mesh it using fine mesh system and rest area with course mech. This will automatically reduce the iterations from the design and time consumption will be less and you can get more accurate results.

The number of iterations can’t be diminished without any data about what sort of cycle you are discussing. Without knowing anything about the idea of the iterations, I can’t propose a strategy to lessen the number of steps. So please post more subtle elements in regard to your question.
