Thesis gets rejected mainly because most of the times it remains incomplete, it may be lacking key elements such as the title, authors, affiliations, keywords, main text, references and all tables and figures, the english is not sufficient for the peer review process, the figures are not complete or are not clear enough to read, reference are old.

My thesis was rejected by my supervisor because the data was defective. Some of other common reasons for thesis rejection are it is not archival, is incremental or of marginal interest to the field, The question behind the work is not of interest in the field, The work is not of interest to the readers of the specific journals.

Check your english and grammar! Maybe you have done your research well, but your writing is spoiling the entire essence of it! Too many spelling mistakes, punctuation errors, confusing sentences, unclear statements or absence of any logical flow across your chapters or writing can piss off the supervisor to straightaway reject the document.
