Journals by Thomson Reuters

I have to publish research papers in the coming year. My topic is related to social injustice. Any idea on the journals indexed by Thomson Reuters? I was asked to specifically check this out by my professor. Other suggestions r also welcome..

Thomson Reuters formerly known as Institute of Science Information (ISI) originally developed citation index namely Science Citation Index (SCI) and Social Science Citation Index (SSCI). While, the SCI journals includes journals from disciplines across science, medicine and technology. The SSCI journals on the other hand includes journals from over 50 disciplines in social sciences. Since, you are from social science discipline, you can check out the SSCI journals for publishing your papers.    You can also check out the Annexure – I journals listed by Anna University, Chennai. They have prepared a comprehensive list that includes all the journals listed by Thomson Reuters, (ie, SCI & SSCI), both paid and unpaid journals. Check out this link to identify your target journal for publication of papers – http://8. https://cfr.annauniv.edu/research/annexure-1.php?alpha=A

Before publishing of journal, firstly you need to find out a list of journals that might be suitable according to your research area and then develop the paper accordingly. Clarivate Analytics page offers you the option to filter out the list of journals that you can possibly think of as per your subject category. You can have a look at it here – http://mjl.clarivate.com/cgi-bin/jrnlst/jloptions.cgi?PC=SS
