Can antenna violation be prevented? If yes, how can we do it?

Yes. Antenna violation can be prevented. You can prevent it by either by creating jogging the metal line or by adding the reverse diodes at the gates which are used in the circuits.

Antenna diode is the most popular method that is used to prevent antenna violation. To avoid the deposition of charges at the gate of a transistor, an n-type diode is used in reverse biased mode, which can drain out the charge without affecting the transistor circuitry. When the metal is exposed, the charge gets accumulated on the net. The substrate remains at the ground, and as a result, a voltage gradient will develop across the gate oxide. If this voltage drops below the substrate potential, then the diode is forward-biased and clamps the voltage.

Yes,antenna diode is the most popular and effective method that is used to prevent the antenna violation. However, you can use jumper technique. This is also considered as an effective method.
