SAS vs R language for data analysis process

 Yes, R language has an added advantage over SAS. i.e the graphical capabilities. 
 Graphics is an essential element when it comes to data analysis. Ability to visualise and analyse 
 data is crucial in data analysis and R is the winner in this aspect. Some of the graphical features that contribute to this are ggplot, Lattice, RGIS, etc.

 I would suggest you to go with SAS itself. This is because it is easy to learn and use SAS. 
 But when it comes to R language, you will need apt knowledge about the programming without which you cannot use R software for data analysis.

 Go with SAS rather than R language. This is because handling and managing data is made easy with SAS. 
 R works only on RAM. Which means an increase in the usage of the RAM when there is increase in data is not a feasible option. 
 However, if you are unable to select the right data analysis tool, take help from the professionals. 
 They will be aware of the tool to be used for each type of study and can help you in selecting the same.
