Tableau vs Qlikview

Among tableau and qlikview which is the best data visualisation tools? My friend says tableau is better than qlikview. Is he right?

If we consider the performance of both the tools, then qlikview is better than tableau. Tableau uses cubing technique which gives out slower results whereas qlikView can quickly and easily combine all sizes of data sets.

You are right Sapna. In terms of performance tableau is not so good as qlikview. But in terms of interface, tableau is one-step higher when compared to that of qlikview. Tableau has a drag and drop interface which is quite easy and interactive. But the interface of qlikview has plenty of tools(which are rarely used). This makes its interface a not so simple one.

Rani, if you are looking for robust performance, visualisations, speed and tables then go for qlikview. But if you want easier interface and easy graphical inputs go for tableau.
