Read it backward, I know it is weird, but yes, it works as I tried it when I edited my paper. When you edit a document from the beginning to the end, especially if you’ve written it yourself, your mind refers to its memory of the process and results you used and achieved while you were writing the essay but when you read it backward it challenges your mind and helps you to pick up spelling mistakes, syntax errors, grammar problems, sentence structure issues, paragraph layout problems more efficiently.
