Hi. 1. Don’t proofread until you finish with the writing and editing process. 2. Take hardcopy of your research document. Highlight the areas that consists of errors and eliminate them. 3. Don’t read in your usual way. Analyse sentence by sentence and focus on spelling, grammar, and punctuation. 4. Work backwards( if that helps) or say the words out loud. 5.use online softwares to check for spelling or grammatical errors.

Rajesh, check facts, quotes, dates, tables, text boxes references, and anything repetitive or outside of the main text. Focus on each element for several time. Every research document has format, whether it’s paragraph spacing, text wrap, spaces above/ below a bullet list or between subheadings.once you are done with other aspects make sure you check these features as well.

Either go through website like https://www.copyblogger.com/creative-proofreading/ and similar ones or take proofreader help.
