Can I use ARCGIS for flow analysis and mathematical calculations in civil engineering? Or is there any other tool that can be used for the same?

No, you cannot use ARCGIS for flow analysis. It is a software used for geographical surveying. and in creating Thematic Maps.

No. ARCGIS is not the right tool to be used for flow analysis. Use MATHCAD for flow analysis. Mathcad is useful in performing flow analysis, mathematical calculations, distributions, etc. Mathcad is an easy-to-use live mathematical notation having open architecture and powerful capabilities and enables engineers to streamline critical design processes.

Mathcad is the right tool for flow analysis. It also displays text, calculations, and images in a readable format. It also lets the user to reuse, design verification, solve and analyse the calculations.
