TurboCAD vs AutoCAD for 3D modelling


I’m conducting my research in mechanical engineering. For 3D modelling purpose which software should I use? Turbo CAD or Autocad?

Hi! According to me AutoCAD is better than TurboCAD as it lets you create a realistic 3D model design. AutoCAD helps you model 3D objects with materials, colors, and/or textures applied to different surfaces enabling you to quickly visualise the design.

Go with Autocad. The main reason for choosing autocad would be Developing a drawing in AutoCAD is much faster than when compared to any other tool. By creating reusable block library, you can save time and effort. It also has commands such as mirror, stretching, rotate and scale to help you with your work. Accuracy: AutoCAD defines precision with decimal numbers which you cannot obtain in any other tool or in manual drawing.

I would suggest you to go with Turbocad. It has dynamic input cursor and has modelling tools such as 3D modelling, extrude, sweeps and more.
