Some of the problems that longitudinal studies in Psychology can encounter include participant dropout, complications regarding data management and ensuring research continuity throughout time. In order to overcome these obstacles, creating a high level of participant engagement and strict data documentation along with flexible research protocols that can fit varying circumstances are needed. Repeatedly reevaluating and readjusting the study plan might improve its effectiveness.
